Atta. Well, there´s a limit to the magic of PP - this one was sitting in very deep shadows. Antshrikes are never easy.

Atta. Two disjunct populations for this species, one more or less in the Guyanas, one in Peru and Boliva on the Eastern slopes of the Andes.

Rock View Lodge. I will never warm to Doves and Pigeons, at least most of them, but this one posed quite nicely.

Rock View. One of South America´s iconic birds. A really huge species. Apart from a distant sighting later in Karanambu the only sighting.
