The re-constituted pack is still in the process of settling down and having an identity for themselves ......... Let's hope the future is bright!

The "park" - where food and water is available in plenty for both predator and prey..... (my prediction - Lebala is going to be absolutely rocking in terms of the sightings in the months ahead)

Interesting full moon comment, or damnation, to be exact. I take it you returned to your paradise in the last couple of months for this latest round of photos. You have some "flagship" great predator shots but that tawny eagle is a real standout. This continuing file is the perfect solution for your continuing trips, Hari.

@@Atravelynn - I found the full moon period, combined with the heat of October to be a factor for predators to be less active in the "day time" - We did find them, of course ...... but, who wants to see sleeping lions, sleeping dogs etc etc.,? Birds, plains game etc etc., all same - I don't think the moon made much of an impact.

My Second Photographable Caracal (Just a couple days prior while at Lagoon, we heard tales of the other guests' sighting of a Caracal feeding on impala...... by the time we got there - just impala carcass; no caracal) - This is Lebala.
