260)Black-winged Kite

This juvenile the only one I saw that I could photograph. I passed two adults sat on the overhead wires when driving south from Malelane to Mkuze but couldn't stop! They remain a top target and a bit of a bogey bird!!

Stop press. Your Oriole has the wrong picture. A Heron.

Also whilst writing I like your lifer with the Cuckoo-Shrike but tentatively suggest the 2nd one is  a 'mere' female' and not necessarily a juv which would have a barred crown.

In for a penny, I fear your Black-bellied Bustard is actually a Red-Crested.

You are absolutely right there Fred. Bustards remain to be hard to come by. I wouldn't mind but I actually posted the shot below from my 2019 trip to KNP!

Really? I had not noticed. I can cope with 'in order seen' and even scientific if you must but A-Z would do my head in. I would be rolling my eyes by the time we had waded through African Pipits and American Avocet so by the time we hit 'Lesser' I would go and put the kettle on or pour a glass of amber nectar..Gawd help us if somebody plays who is Dyslexic.;)
