My leopard was shot around midday, just in case anyone was wondering. Look forward to seeing some of you night images though.

Cute photo a former member, look forward to seeing more of you b&w efforts.

You have to see what some of your midday images can look like in B&W kittykat. <_< They can be really very interesting.

I am going to try to play "snap" from now on - I'll try to post an image with at least two key features in common with the previous one. Pointless game and please don't feel you should join in. Silly "self-entertainment". :)

B&W lion in Mombo (which is private Moremi of course)

B&W Vervet Monkey in Moremi (well it is not quite BLACK but close enough)

Who'll stop the rain?

A move away from B&W :)

Taken on the boundary of Olare Orok, with the Siria escarpment in the background. There is a strip of community land between OOC and MNC, which is where the Masai village is located.

Sticking with the Kenya theme, this one was taken by my dad on our first african safari:

Nice cheetah kittykat.

Russell, looks like the beautiful Mara won you over, glad to hear! So one day you can try some other parts of Kenya, it isn't all crowded and horrible, just different to Botswana. (not that I know Bots of course, out of my price range). :)

We had a great time, and game viewing was far superior to anything Bots has delivered in the last 2/3 years. I am planning for the Serengeti and Mara next, with a Katavi add on.

It's hard to remain chic and debonaire with safari hair!

King of the Valley, or at least the Mfuwe sector in 2007.

If you have not been to the Luangwa, the meandering river is stunning. This was at Mfuwe Wawfa, though the view from Tafika camp takes the biscuit IMHO.

There' something odd aout how that picture stands out, but it's perfect for illustrating what all those browsers (giraffe, dry season elephants, grant's and even Thompson's gazelles) are doing in the grasslands, and how important they are out there... One day, when I write by best-selling guide to the ecology of the savanna, I'll come to you for a copy...

Russell and kittykat23uk, can you add those images to Safaritalk's "Let's see your African sunrises / sunsets..." article here? Thanks, Matt
