I have only seen a handful of these birds in my whole life so the spectacle of a flock of around a 1000 birds flying around was something to behold.

A passing helicopter put up the Harrier which I had seen at even greater distance than this. Every Big Year needs a few EBC's  included and I doubt I'll see another this year

I was distracted while photographing the Whinchat by this Kestrel that flew in to the long grass with what appears to be a locust in it's talon.
